Lotus Quest Outbound programmes are known for vibrant environment, thrilling adventure activities, innovative experiential learning games and experienced facilitators
Our participants fondly call our outbound programmes as liberating experiences, as they become free of their limiting beliefs and find themselves confident and powerful. We hold a mirror for them to reflect on their experiences and start a quest for the next level of awareness and competence |

Framework & Methodology |
 |
|
Adult learning Cycle :
Outbound activities necessarily use Kolb’s Learning Cycle. We believe that any effective learning event must pass through the stages of Action, Reflection, Theorising and Planning for future. Participants, whether they are activists, theorists, reflectors or Pragmatists (As explained by Honey & Mumford) find the activities attractive, for experimenting their ideas. |
|
|
|
Learnings based on Action:
Outbound workshops use a mix of Adventure and outdoor Group activities Each activity is followed by an interactive discussion steered by an experienced facilitator. All activities are interwoven with the learnings which are required to be brought out for the participants. Participants are able to keep such learning for long in their memory. Outbound programmes can address your areas completely.
Outdoor Locations:
Outbound workshops are held in areas with nature’s bounty. In such environment, participants drop their fears, anxieties and inhibitions. They are encouraged to participate with open minds.
Team based:
Our Outbound activities are team activities. Hence the biggest payoff from them is the team spirit the participants develop and the group learnings which come out of combined experiences. |

Learning Outcomes from Outbound Training |
 |
|
Stimulates all Types of people:
Experiential activities attract all types of persons, whether an activist (who needs to be involved in an activity), Reflector (Who needs to think about the experiment later), Theorist (who needs to work out details of any underlying principles, or a Pragmatist (who is concerned about applying the learning).
Action & Reflection:
We have always noticed that in our programmes, even people with less communicative preferences shed their introvert selves and participate freely in activities & discussions. This often makes them more communicative as well as caring towards their people & environment.
Safe Experiments:
These activities give the participants opportunities to experiment their ideas in safe environment rather than trying them out in real world and risking real consequences. It also makes them have fun with the colleagues with whom they have only official acquaintance in work place
Competing environment:
There are a lot of activities based on competitions and participants have a lot of opportunities to apply their leadership and team skills to win. This environment develops camaraderie and people look back at these memories with fondness. This makes atmosphere of the organisation more open and nurturing with good understanding between people. New leaders emerge out of these programmes and a lot of others begin their development quest. |
